What is the
TKMUN Conference?

The Tunku Kurshiah Model United Nations (TKMUN) is a simulation of the United Nations held in conjunction with the International Youth Climate Action Convention (TKCLIMATE) 2025. This MUN aims to empower youth to engage in critical dialogue, diplomacy, and decision-making on climate and global issues aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs).

Participants will assume the roles of UN delegates and debate pressing global challenges, particularly those connected to climate action and sustainability.

Open to youth aged 13–20 years old, TKMUN welcomes both individual delegates and school/club delegations to take part in this immersive, thought-provoking experience.

Participants will gain skills in public speaking, policy writing, negotiation and leadership; all while addressing one of the greatest challenges of our time: the climate crisis. TKMUN 2025 invites aspiring changemakers to engage in solution-driven diplomacy with the theme:

"Climate Diplomacy for a Sustainable Future".
